Alex is originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, went to the George Washington University, and has worked in a variety of capacities with a focus on digital strategy and marketing for startups.
Alex Miller is originally from Dalton, Pennsylvania - a small town just outside of Scranton. Alex's entrepreneurial journey started at a young age, selling everything from lemonade to handmade arrowheads on the quiet Dalton roadsides.
Alex moved to DC in 2011 to attend The George Washington University. During his time at GW, Alex worked in several political and legal organizations, spent evenings as a DC bike tour guide, and co-founded several business ventures. In December of 2014, Alex graduated cum laude with a degree in Philosophy & Public Affairs.
Shortly after graduation, Alex accepted a position at Clutch, a tech research startup in DC. While at Clutch, Alex worked with hundreds of firms in the tech and digital marketing fields. He developed, grew, and managed Clutch's cloud research segments. He also spearheaded legal compliance projects, engaged in SEO and content marketing initiatives, and mentored newly on-boarded analysts.
After stepping away from Clutch, Alex turned focus to refining his digital marketing skills. During this time, he brought on freelance clients and began managing advertising accounts across several industries. He also spent time as Digital Marketing Manager for Unleashed Technologies, an enterprise web and hosting firm in Maryland.
Currently, Alex offers digital services to clients across the world, including serving as the Online Marketing Manager for an international footwear brand. In addition, he focuses on building the startups he's co-founded.
When not knee-deep in digital campaigns and web design, Alex spends his time traveling, hiking, or road-tripping with his girlfriend, Katie. He is a self-proclaimed whiskey and cigar aficionado, a wine enthusiast, and a proud parent a rescue pup, Kanga.
